Are GALACTIC ingredients allergen-free?

GALACTIC products do not contain diet-allergen like lactose. More generally, they are totally allergen-free.

Can I use GALACTIC ingredients in organic products?

GALACTIC products are derived from GMO (Genetically Modified Food) free cane or beet sugar they can absolutely be used in organic products in Europe, North America and Asia.

Is GALACTIC, ethyl lactate, toxic for humans and environment?

Lactate esters like GALASTER ethyl lactate, are generally used for their excellent solvent properties. They are nontoxic, biodegradable, and thus they can replace toxic and halogenated solvents for a wide range of industrial and consumer uses. Ethyl lactate is also specified as a flavor chemical in the Food Chemicals Codex.

How much GALACTIC mineral sources must be added to the food product in order to achieve a certain percentage of the RDI per serving?

The RDI for a mineral varies from one country to another depending on Government advice. Health claims on packaging are generally related to the amount of mineral addition required to reach a given % of RDI (per serving).

The European RDI is 800mg of calcium. One serving is 300ml to bring an additional 20% of calcium per serving, you need to add 160mg of calcium which represents 0.16g.

GALAXIUM contains 13.8 % of calcium.

Therefore, to add 0.16g of calcium per serving, you need to add (0.16/13.8) * 100mg = 1.17g of GALAXIUM per serving = 3.86g of GALAXIUM per liter.
