23-06-2010 COULEUR CAFE established its choice for durable solutions by using PLA cups.

Based since 1994 in Tour & Taxis, one of the most beautiful industrial sites in Europe, COULEUR CAFE is a well-known festival of world music but also a celebration of all music from r & b, hip-hop, World, to African, reggae, salsa, rock, etc. ... Offering a culinary experience with more than 50 different cuisine, 4 stands for tea tasting, and gathering almost 80,000 visitors in three days, the festival inevitably generates a large amount of waste. To minimize the environmental footprint of the festival, the cups are made this year with polylactic acid (PLA), a plastic issued from renewable materials.
After being sorted out, the PLA waste will be sent to Escanaffles where Galactic has developed an innovative recycling process: LOOPLA.
